2015 Emmys!
My man and I had the most amazing time at the 2015 Primetime Emmys in Los Angeles. Attending with two of my dearest friends, Sophie Olson of SODE School of Performing Arts, and her uber-talented hubby Stephen Olson. Steven works on the one the only Family Guy. He was one of the many talented people we had the pleasure of celebrating with that night.
It was so much fun and an unbelievably hot LA day! However what struck me the most about the evening and what I’ll never forget was hearing the acceptance speeches in person, there is something different to that then when you hear them on TV! The gratitude and hard work that each person truly puts into their show is so inspiring. Every award has a long and winding story attached to the creation of the series/movie that made that Emmy moment possible. It is this richly woven journey that most fascinates me – every person has waged a battle to stand on that stage. I took home with me a major source of inspiration and everlasting adoration for all the artists I had the pleasure of sitting with that evening. Looking forward to going back!
