Aubrey Arnason Bio

In 2017 Aubrey Arnason was chosen as one of Canada’s top 3 emerging female director’s by Women In View. Recently she directed an episode of the Emmy nominated series Dino Dana (Amazon). Aubrey plays Dr. Lucy Fife on the Apple TV series Home Before Dark. She has been nominated for 12 Leo Awards (BC Film & Television awards) with a win for Best Host for The Wedding Belles. Aubrey directed 50 episodes of The Wedding Belles and 7*30 min of The Proposal. She wrote & directed Kindergarten Da Bin Ich Wieder which she also starred in, the film was part of the Crazy 8 Film Event as well as screened numerous festivals including National Canadian Film Day and was broadcast on CBC. The Winter Song which she wrote & directed is loosely based on her real life story having both her father and brother be NHL players. The Winter Song was broadcast on Air Canada In Flight in 2018 and was one of Storyhive’s top 30 films for 2017. Aubrey has co-created two scripted comedy which were piloted by CITY TV and directed 13*30 min episodes of the teen variety series Hip Hop With Travis Lim (SHAW). She recently completed prep and it set to direct her first romantic comedy MOW Remembering Love with Reel One Entertainment ( once COVID restrictions are lifted).
